'Hero to the heroes': Gary Sinise 'choked up' by thank you video featuring celebs, veterans, first responders

You don’t have to be a Twitchy regular to know that actor Gary Sinise is absolutely one of the good guys. He’s set up the Gary Sinise Foundation to help veterans and their families (and fly Gold Star children to Disney World for Christmas), and he tours with the Lt. Dan Band to entertain the troops.

On Tuesday, the Gary Sinise Foundation released a surprise video thanking Sinise for all his hard work, with appearances by both veterans and celebrities like Jay Leno, Tom Hanks, Rob Lowe, Tim Allen, Joe Mantegna, Tim Allen, and many, many more.

Sinise tweeted that he was “completely shocked” and “choked up” by the video, and you probably will be too.
